Message from 2003 Convention Co-Chair

DONNA MURRAY, RN, MSN

It's that time of year, again! Even if it is only for a few days, it is time for nurses to take care of themselves. It's time to come to the New Jersey Nursing Convention to get rejuvenated, further educated and just have some fun in the process. You owe it to yourself as a professional to sit among your peers and listen to the wonderful lectures being offered. This year's theme, "Changing Times: Nurse; Answer the Call," will be reflected in all the educational sessions offered. You will feel exhilarated and very proud to be a nurse. You will also have the opportunity to wander through the exhibit hall filled with Employers, Educators and Hospital-related Industry Vendors and Professional Organizations.

Refreshments, from coffee and muffins in the a.m. to wine and cheese in the p.m., will be served. The days are full of exciting professional opportunities and the evenings are on your own to dine with friends, relax and just have fun. What better way could you combine so much professional and personal time in just a few short days?
As a Convention Committee, we have worked hard to plan and schedule events that we hope will meet your professional needs. We hope we have thought of everything to make your time at this year's convention a memorable experience.

We look forward to being your hosts, so please join us on April 2-4, 2003, for the New Jersey Nursing Convention in Atlantic City.
